header fitment, from '83 to '85

header fitment, from '83 to '85
I imagine that this would work fine, but I have to ask before I purchase....
A header that is currently installed on an '83 22r, will it fit on my '85 22re 4runner?

Probably will fit. I run an LC Engr. header on my '85 that was ordered for an '83 originally:

well from my understanding 22r 81-84 are the same but 22re are a completly different port design.... but if it dont work 4 ya i would surly like to buy that from u!!! if it dont work that is!!! lol!!

also the 85 have a different smog tube setup. 84 and earlier have the smog tube that goes over the top of the manifold and bolts horizontally. 85 should have the smog tube that bolt vertically against the head.
