tacoma ARB bumper on a 3rd gen 4runner

Does anyone have a front pic of how much the fender flares stick out when running a tacoma bumper. I have the Bushwacker flare but they are about the same as limited flares so that would work also.

Thanks, Bryan

After seeing the silver limited in roorrunners sig maybe I should get the TJM. What do you guys think? I have owned ARB's before but never a TJM. I know the ARB is built really well. It looks like the ARB Prado bar sticks out way to far in the front, Is that true or an optical illusion?

not to jack your thread but I've got the TJM 15 w/the black sr5 flares. they stick out rougly an inch from the flares on both sides. I knew they would do it when i bought it I just didn't think it would bother me as much as it does. Anyone know if their is a way to shorten the width of the bumper? Even if I get the bushwackers it would still bother the hell out of me that it sticks out farther than the quarter panel.

if you wheel it and need protection...get the arb. if you dont...get the tjm. the prado does stick out on a non sport/ltd flared runner. its 71". the tacoma bar is a tad narrower than a sport/ltd flared runner. its 68". the tacoma bar and tjm will leave you a gap if youve got a body lift. prado doesnt...

hope this helps

does the prado bar stick out farther in the front also? So If I go Prado my flare and the edge of my flares will almost be even? I have a 2" body lift, Is there enough adjustability in the prado to move it into the correct place?

One nice thing about the TJM is that Steve at sonoran steel will rebuild the brackets to fit a body lift (as long as you buy the bumper from him). He also incorporates shackle hangers which is a nice addition. A lot of people say that the ARB is stronger, and maybe it is, but I do know from experience that the TJM is strong enough to use a winch (I've had to use mine twice and no problems at all) and in my opinion looks less bulky than the ARB. Just my $.02

The prado works great with LTD fender flares. The taco works great with the other ones. The prado does stick out a little bit farther in the front. Not much.
