***20lb CO2 tanks***

I sat down for a while with a rep at welding supply company this afternoon. Originally, I went in to price out cylinders just for me. After talking to the rep for a little while, he agreed to cut me a massive discount on a bulk order of CO2 tanks. Originally, I went in to ask about 10 and 15lb tanks. Unfortunately, they don't actively stock them. However, they do stock 20 lb tanks. And they end up being cheaper than a 10-15 lb tank because they keep them in bulk. To qualify for the lower price, we need to order at least 10.

I can offer these in 3 stages - bare, static and loaded

BARE:
20lb Aluminum C02 tank, filled. No regulator, hoses, etc. Just the tank and the gas as pictured, no regulator, hoses, or fittings - $140

STATIC:
20lb Aluminum CO2 tank, filled, 150PSI static (non-adjustable) regulator, fittings and 20' of hose. All you need is the tire chuck of your choice. - $195
w/ mounting bracket - $230

LOADED:
20LB Aluminum CO2 tank, filled, 0-200PSI adjustable regulator, fittings and 20' of hose, and mounting bracket. All you need is the tire chuck of your choice. - $340

For comparison, Off-Road Air sells their 20lb system with 200psi adjustable regulator, hose and bracket for $402.80. Power Tank sells their PT-20 Comp package with 200psi adjustable regulator, hose, and bracket for $519.95. That's a savings of $180!

Actually the shipping cost for the weight is not that big of a deal the bigger deal is that to ship them filled you have to use a special service, and that costs $$$$$. I ship smaller Co2/Compressed air tanks all the time and as long as they are empty there are no special rules but if they are filled then it becomes hazard shipping and that gets comlicated. If they will ship them out to you from the factory with there shipping company then it should not be too bad but if you are going to have to get them and then reship them i would think twice.

But that is a really good deal for a 20lb tank!

That's a good point on shipping. Take $15 off all prices for empty bottles. What's your zip? I'll calculate shipping for you.

That is how i would do it, get them empty. You will have to get them filled later to use them anyways so it is not a big deal and it makes everything simpler. Plus the $15 to fill them is about the same as it will cost you to fill them someplace else.

If you live in Colorado, I can bring them to you filled with no shipping cost. Otherwise, they will be empty and shipping charges will apply (calculated on a case-by-case basis)

Say I've already got a couple of 20# tanks but I need accessories. Can we swing a deal - valve swaps, adjustable regulators, hoses, etc?

Thanks!

I'd love to get bulk pricing on some accessories since I may not have a regular paycheck for much longer.

Anybody else interested?
