How Much Gear Oil

DOES ANYONE KNOW ROUGHLY HOW MUCH GEAR OIL THE FRONT AND REAR DIFFERENTIALS TAKE , AND WHAT TYPE?? ON A 95 4RUNNER

should be pretty close to mine rear takes about 3qts front diff is a little over 1qt use ether red line or mobil 1 75w-90

I have a 3rd gen but I believe they use similar if not the same diffs. The rear takes 2.2 quarts and the front is around 1 quart. Just buy 4 quarts and fill them until fluid starts running back out the fill plug, this method works every time.

Remove the fill plug first just in case you find out you can't remove it after you've allready drained it.

my pickup was a lil over two for the rear, and i cant remember what the front was, i think i bought 5quarts all together to do the whole job, and came out with some extra
