which seat belt is the right one (toyota part numbers)

Well i emailed my local Toyota parts store, and they emailed me back with this retarded email

HI CHAD,

I RAN YOUR VIN# AND P/N#73300-35010-E0 $79.36 FOR THE SECOND ROW SEAT CAN GET IN ONE DAY.P/N#73540-35010-E0 $35.68 FOR THE THIRD ROW SEAT WOULD TAKE A WEEK TO GET . IT'S COMING OUT OF OUR NATIONAL WAREHOUSE.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THIS HAS HELPED YOU AND IF I CAN DO ANYTHING ELSE FOR YOU LET ME KNOW.
THANKS DAN
Well im really confused, and the stupid guy doesn't know how to elaborate or respond to emails after a couple of months of trying to have him respond....

What i am looking for is the rear middle seat belt... i have no idea why the tard decided to give me two part numbers.... this really just annoys the crap out of me.

Anyways, i am going to order it from trdparts4u as i save a lot of money and i am about to put an order in for some gaskets and other things.

Does anyone know i need the second row seat or the third row seat... i don't see how a 4runner even has a third row seat.

any help would be great, i don't want to order the wrong part and waste $70 or $30

Email for some transactions is a poor choice...call and order the parts you are looking for with your VIN# in hand.

Nothing can replace person to person direct communication...lots to be lost in emails...and chats in forums.

What happened to your seat belt? All dealerships are required to replace broken seat belts for life.

Use the local dealer to get the correct part number and then use that to shop around on the net.
At the dealer you can look at the parts diagrams to make sure you get what you want later.

If the seatbelt doesn't perform correctly and it was not abused, cut, tore, etc... then Toyota and all dealerships are required by law to replace them.

Talk to the service manager.

According to the part number he gave, the first number 73350-35010-e0 is the number for your rear seat center lap belt assembly. as far as a third row seat i have never seen one but have heard of a few, more for the out of country 4runners. Absolutley check with Phill (strapp22) and Jacque (gumbo) at trdparts4u.com about that belt. shipping may be a bear, some belts have explosive devices and can not be shipped inexpensively

good luck
Mike

yeah, i talked to strapp22 and he forwarded my PM to Jacque yesterday morning. So my guess is i should have a better part number waiting in my inbox soon.

I don't think my seat belt has an explosive device, unless that are going to send me a different one than what was originally in there. The first seat belt broke where the buckle is, and it was like that when i got it from the first owner. But the broken one is actually still sitting in there and doesn't appear to have any parts or boxes designed to explode

what is the purpose of it exploding?

I did read your first post all you said you did was to email the dealer.....I told you to go down and look in person, which it sounds like you still have not done......you'll see exactly what you need and what the part number is and then you can order from trdparts4u after.
