Full size running gear under 87 pickup
Im looking in to swapping full size axles under my truck and the only thing i havent figured out is what driveshaft to use or is there an adapter to get?

All you need are pinion flanges for whatever axles you have that adapt to Toyota driveshafts.
These are commonly available from High Angle Driveline for both 44's and 60's.
Would someone explain how building a square shaft would aleviate the problem? I am pretty sure that is like telling the guy to buy an elephant.
There is nothing special about these axles in front other than spring perch width, full width axles are in the 31" pin to pin range. Toyota is 29ish. Combine that with brakes and you are good to go.

ok i will do some hunting. It will be a D44 in the front and a 14bolt FF rear. My buddys doing up the steering and the links. I just have to work out the driveshaft issue and the coils.
Colorado seems to be pretty lax on this. My buddy has the bed off his S10 and 3/4ton driveline in it no bed all cage and has yet to be pulled over.
