2000 4runner..Should I sand and paint my flares?

Ok I have a 2000 4runner and 3 of my fender flares have pretty bad scratches. I can get them painted for 200 bucks like normal though. Do you think it would look good though if I sanded and painted the flares black and I also bought some Tacoma 5 spoke rims and thought about getting them powdercoated black if I paint my flares black. I would be getting rid of the running boards but do need front mud flaps so where can I get those? Anyone wanna photoshop black flares and some 5 spoke 2002 tacoma wheels both black for me? Anyone in Tulsa also? Posibily wanna help with a small lift for some cash? I have a nice big garage but no damn air tools! anyways thanks

Lift is not hard at all. I didnt have air tools and it was pretty easy. Just take the front ones to a shop to make it easier. Why dont you just paint the flairs body color again - looks good. Black wheels though

A case of beer is always payment The lift just depends on cash flow this summer. I wanna kinda make it look different. Thats why I was thinking of painting the flairs black or possible linex or whatever. So anyone know where to get front mud flaps? I hate hitting my pants on boards. They do me no good as im 6'2. And matt I looked at your myspace...Oh gee you know Jessica haha

Just get any generic rubber flares, they'll look good. Kind of like what the Taco's have.

i think that if you painted the flares a darker color it would look good..esp with a similarly colors wheel...i think it would be pretty sweet..

I lived in Tulsa for 11 years, and I can give a few people a call that can help you with your lift. I'll be out there this summer but I don't know if you want to wait that long. Just curious did you or do you go to union?

I went there from kindergarten until second semester of 9th grade year. I'm now in Georgia, I don't graduate until next year. My brother graduated there in 2003.
