Why am I the only one that doesn't have a problem with the skid plate the comes down from the radiator to the diff, but with the one that covers the diff?

ITs so bad that the mounts are actually screwed to hell, time to get a custome one made...

Its the same skid plate from 96-02. The front bumper being different has nothing to do with the skid plate.

The one you posted is the "sport" model. Its a dealer add-on accessory. The trucks come from the factory with an actual skid plate under that. That silver sport skid does nothing, its just for looks. Sorta like running boards, and Westin style "light bars"

If you have a 96-98 you can fit a taco skid. If it's a 4runner skid then it wont fit a 96-98 4runner.

I am just going to go for it and get a budbuilt skidplate. I am sure it will eventually pay itself off. I am sure this will be setting off the mod bug

wait? I was under the impression that any 95.5-04 and 96-02 skid plate will fit any of those vehicles? the 2 piece skid plate, not the sport dirt scooper.
