I would really like to get up to Greenwater tomorrow, but alas the weather is going to be decent enough for me to spend several hours hooking up my foglights in my bumper tomorrow morning.
Been putting it off for way to long.
If you go, take plenty of pics.

I would say 30 miles or less, maybe more?
Once in Enumclaw, you head East on highway 410 for 20 miles or less.
Once you get to the town of Greenwater (watch out, 35 MPH speed traps) FS Road 70 is on your left about a mile out of town.
There is a ton of snow up there now though, but lots of places to explore and get good pics of Mt. Rainier.

This will get to you our "normal" stepping off point for runs in that area. It's the Safeway store in Enumclaw.
As you stand in front of it, facing the store, then you want to go to your left. That's the route out of town and heading towards Greenwater. (Roosevelt Ave is 410)
Like Corey said, FS 70 will be on your left, just after Greenwater. It's a small sign, keep an eye open!
If you end up going alone, watch out for the snow! You'll have a long walk back to get help.

Have you been all through in & around Evan's when it's dry, or at least 100% passable? FS 70 isn't really like that, it's much more of a nice scenic route on an easy drive. Outside of some off-shoots that aren't really trails, I don't think you'll even get into any overhang.
fwiw, here're some shots from the last time I was up at Evan's and it was dry:
