i belive the r150 is one burly tranny based on stuff i've read on other threads. i also know that there's several ppl running 33x12.5 so i can almost guarantee that you'll be fine. prepare for a performance hit when it comes to the 3.slow though...

doubt it. check out https://www.yotatech.com/~corey/4runner_faq.htm
and look down the page a little; talks about tire sizes. looks like the only issue you'd have is a little rubbing up front.

That'll be fine... gears shouldn't be too big of an issue either, I've got the same size on mine and the drop in acceleration is minor...

tranny can handle it no problem. 4.10's with 33's is gonna suck though

yah, im thinking about throwing 33x12.5x15 on my truck this weekend and I am wondering if the same thing for mileage and power loss.
I got a 3.0L V6 AUTO with 4.10's and the stock tranny and t-case.
Would I get better performance out of sticking with 31's or 32's and a locker? or with the 33's and a locker?
Any suggestions?

For manual tranny:
4.56 for 31's
4.88 for 33's
5.29 for 35's

But you better regear front AND back if you plan on using 4x4.
