How do you like them? I am also thinking about buying a set for mine and any feedback would be great.

I have them...However they were already installed when I bought the Runner, so I don't really have a comparison. That being said they seem to work well.

You should really use the search function (if you did, mention it) since you have a lot of questions about performance items that have been reviewed extensively. That being said, there are a ton of threads about headers, the different kinds, and the performance gains, if any. I personally went with the Edelbrock headers before I was supercharged and didn't notice a difference. I even did some timed runs before and after and nothing changed. Talk about a waste; $700 dollars or so later, 8 hours of my time, and no performance gain?

Now if you are supercharged that's a different story...then they seem to really make a difference.

Ok, I would have though it would have at least made somewhat of a difference.

I have a set of TRD headers, they look great and added some "seat of the pants" performance, but the gaskets suck, I have replaced them three times in 40K. not the manifold gaskets, but the round ones on the rest of the joints.

You may want to look at the JBA's, they seem pretty nice.

I have a set as well, however they were already installed when I purchased the vehicle...By the way, I was reading the exhaust article on gadgetonline, and IIRC he indicated that it was tough to make them seal to the head..

Yeah, I think the first production headers had that problem. I used the same gaskets the stock manifold takes....new ones of course....and no leaks there.

Installed on my Runner last July, Love them, best money I spent!! The TRD Headers are made by Thorley so you know your gonna get quality!!
And yes they do get some nice low end torque and awesome throttle response!!

Hi there, I just have a question, you said you replaced the gaskets 3 times (the round ones on the rest of the joints)... are those the ones that look like mushrooms? Where did you get them? How much did you pay for them? Do they have a name? I cant seem to find them anywhere! Any info will help A LOT! Thanks!
