One last question before ordering hubs
#1
Sorry i always get nervous before ordering my parts, im a poor college student and cant afford to order the wrong parts.
On my 1988 4Runner i am switching from auto hubs to manual hubs.
I found a sweet deal on some rebuilt aisin hubs so all i need now are these:
Wheel Bearing Nut Kit (From WabFab)
correct me if i am wrong and tell me if i am missing something else.

i switched from auto to manual hubs about 2 months ago, yes you do need those parts but they should come with the hubs. if you do end up needing them go to the boneyard to get them it will save you a few bucks.
also make sure you know how to deal with the cone washers before you break into it

"i re-use the cone washers correct? if i loose anything during the swap will a pepboys or a napa have these parts?"
yeah, you can re-use cone washers....i can't tell you if the auto parts store will have them or not just make sure you can either locate them when they go flying or hold a bag over the hub when you are trying to remove them so you don't have to try to track them down

1988's didn't come with ADD. He has Auto hubs. Based on the picture, it looks like you will need 2 kits. As already stated, the article on 4x4wire.com sums it up. If you can, get some M6-1.0x16MM bolts from Lowes for the hub dial plates. It adds points to the "bling" factor. Among other things, you will need a #20 torx bit and MP grease. You'll need some hand cleaner too =). If you can't take off the Auto hub plate with an allen wrench, a hammer to the word Toyota in the middle of the hub plate will fix that. The plate will crumble so you can get to the 12mm titanium nut inside. Sorry, but Toyota deserves it for putting these pieces of crap on our 4x4's.
