3.0 3VZ-E 90' 4Runner.
Cliff notes: Blew up engine. Put remanufactured engine in. Working out bugs.


So I got my Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor in. The truck runs allot smoother, but when you fire it up it dies almost instantly. The gauge cluster turns off and restarts. The exhaust smells like a lawn mower.. Its seems to running rich. I really need some suggestions guys. Please help I really want my yota healthy again....

Three sensors on this same sensor block are throwing codes. They all lead back to the ecu.....ill try checking the connections to the ecu.

 

Do you have a good volt/ohm meter?

 

I do! I figured it out man.... loose connections.

 

Well, great! I'm just confused...am I talking to a split personality here? Two user names? Two different people?
