How is your front bumper is mounted

I'd like to see how your front bumper is mounted w/ all the bracketry and supports. ARB, TJM, and all other custom setups. Thanks

what are you trying to accomplish? are you planning to fab something? maybe if you let us know what you have planned, then we could cut to the chase and just answer your next (inevitable) question

I don't seen what was difficult about my orginal post.
I'm looking for ideas on secure mounting points for your front bumper. I already fabricated my winch bumper just curious on securing mounting it and still being tough enough to re-cut old trails. Thank you for the pictures drguitarum2005.

The ARB uses something like 16 bolts

It has a C shapred portion that goes around the front crossmember, then side arms than run aft on the frame for 9" or so...

I used the FROR cross member reinforcement, which is a nice piece... Welded it in.
Bumper bolts to 6 places. 2 x 2 standard bumper holes.. Then I added 2 more in the middle. That way I've got 6 mount points for a 9000lb winch. The rest of the bumper is fabricated around the winch mount:

I like the zap strap turn signals...

I laugh, but at the moment one of my turn signal bulbs (not lens, the lens is smashed out...) is held by the very same avdanced repair technique. I wish I had the cash for a new bumper

Hey, they're screwed on to the bumper... They were only zap-strapped for fabrication purposes...
I think there are a bunch of aftermarket bumpers out there - especially winch bumpers that aren't held on very well... 4 bolts and a potential yank of over 9000lbs isn't a good thing.

is there no worry of messing the winch components up on anything low hanging or submerging it completely in water?

Most winches are sealed from water these days.
