Dash lights not working after transmission replacement

so here’s what I have. I a 93 auto that needed a transmission. Swapped the tranny out and now my
ecu power light doesn’t come on and my 4x4 light doesn’t come on. They worked prior to the transmission going bad. I looked st all the wires everything is plugged in. When I shift into low range it works just those two lights aren’t working after the swap. Any ideas?

how about telling the whole story? what motor, did you put in a used tranny or new? did you do the work? do you have a multi meter and a wiring diagram? test the electronics on the old tranny and compare to the new one? did you pinch any wires in the bell housing or t-case mating surfaces?

From what I recall of this era wiring diagram, the shift pattern selection switch operates independent of the ECU and transmission. Likely a loose wire under the console or dash..
