I am doing a full restoration of a late 86 Toyota Pickup 4WD standard cab and am missing a detail to make it as new again. There are 2 decals under the hood, one of which is completely destroyed. It is the Vacuum Hose Information sheet.
I found a few example online (see the images attached) but don't know which is the proper one to use and need a high res picture so I can reproduce it. Or better yet if someone has a source to buy a new one that would be excellent. The truck is in Alaska so I'm assuming it's a FED version rather than CAL but perhaps they are all for CAL - not sure. Anyway, any help would be much appreciated.
I meant to reply a lot sooner but I have gotten busy.
If I remember correctly, the two digit number in the bottom right corner of the label is what indicates your "label type". In the first picture you posted, it would be label 52. In the second picture it would be label 41.
Are you still able to read that number on your label? Or is there a part number on the label?
Even on my nice truck, the vacuum hose diagram is pretty wrinkled, but still readable.
There was a seller on e-Bay that sold a few high quality reproductions but I am not sure if they are still around. I have not been able to find them in the past 6 months.
Thanks for the info. Unfortunately I wrecked the original during steam cleaning so didn't get the number. I'm probably going to make my own decal based on examples and clear coat it.
Thanks that's perfect! I should be able to knock up a reproduction based on this image and stick it to my hood. The timing is great because I am just about ready for the clear coat stage.
Thanks again
I know I am late on this thread but I am reproducing the decals. I have a 1986 emissions for sale (among others). I do not have the 22re vacuum though for the 1986. If you are interested in them, hit me up on instagram Toyota4Low or ebay *Toyota4Low. I do not come on here too often so those two sites will be a lot easier to contact me and also see what I have.
