Windows Movie Maker good for a slideshow but mov files?
I'm trying to put together a slideshow at work and I have a handful of mov files. Will those not work on Windows Movie Maker?
If it doesn't can anyone suggest a better program?
Thanks!

I have used WMM many times to stitch together several MPG files.
I do not do MOV files, so I do not know if it does them or not.
OK...
Just fired it up, and indeed Uncle Bill does not support Apple files.
It was not in the supported list, so I clicked on "all files", selected it, then got the error when I tired to import it.
I would try Googling for some software that supports stiching together MOV files.
There is probably some good freeware that does the job.
You could drop Scott (Admin in our list here) a PM and see if he knows.
He does own one of the biggest Mac forums out there.

.mov files are MAC file and movie maker perposfully does not support them. Just like MACS quicktime doesn't like WMA files. You have to convert the file to wma or AVI or MPEG mpeg 2 for it to work. I'm asuming your using a still digital camera with a movie making mode.
I've used WinMPG convert with good succes to convert them. You can find it free with a google serch
