yea, right after i read the cnn article i went to google, found NOTHING, sucked... all of the articles were old or made up.

Finally looks like it'll be up on the Xbox in the technology race even tho' Sony still controls over 70% of the market and that's was the main reason I went with a PS2 over the Xbox since aftermarket support is still triple even quadruple the support for Microsoft's console.
Sony will most likely still have a stranglehold on the console market for a a while to come while GameCube and Xbox fight over what's left.

 

the new XBOX will beat it to stores by coming out at the end of the year.

 

i read something about up to 7 wireless controllers. hooks up to 2 hdtv's, and still plays all ps2 games.

 

looks to me like they will be out around the same time, spring 2006.

And will look dated when the PS3 does come out just like the PS2 looked a little behind the XBox a few years ago but it sure didn't hurt Ps2 sales.

 

Possession is still in development, that's why it looks so rough.

its gonna be tough for them...the market has been leaning xbox for quite some time now....the PS3 will support HDTV.....FINALLY. I've been playing HDTV video games on my XBox for 4 years now!!! That thing looks like the XBox 360, and has the wireless remotes, just like the XBox 360 has.

You guys who are die hard playstation fans will LOOOVVVEEE the ps3. I bought my ps2 after I owned an xbox for a long long time. So I couldnt stand the thing.

I think now with PS3 and XBox 360 being comparible in hardware it will all come down to the game. I hate to say it but now Xbox has finnally introduced so really kick ass games its all gonna come down to that.

When I bought my PS2 I bought GTA3 and Ratchet and Clank. Since I preferred XBox sports games there was NOTHING else I found interesting. With XBox I have games like Fable, Doom 3, Starwars Battlefront, KOTOR I & II, Prince of Persia, Breakdown, Halo 1 and 2....

I did buy Spyro the Dragon for my girlfriend. Watching her play it made me want to scream but it made her happy so I didnt complain. Now with Playstation in the 20th century we'll hopefully start seeing some kickass games, with good graphics.

 

let's do a group buy when it comes out lol. jk with its current popularity, it'll prolly be out of stock for 3months. I am so buying this

 

sales on the PS3 will be so high if you contacted them and said you wanted a discount for a group buy of 10-20 people they will probably laugh at you...heheh

I love video games I just hope the sales prices on the PS3 and XBox 360 is reasonable...

And Ray, I'd be interested to know why the PS3 (seemingly) excites you more than Xbox 360?

I only buy video consoles when they come down to less then $150. I just bought a PSII a few months ago, the litle skinny one. Now I have all these cool games I can buy that are less then $15.
