Talking New Stuff

With summer coming around I thought it would be a good time to do some upgrades to help lower my temps. My comp(p4 prescott) usually runs at about 47 C at idle and at 55 C under load. First I decided to upgrade the heatsink(thermalright xp-120), then since I would have the computer apart might as well get a new case too. I decided on the thermaltake armor.

Its an aluminum full tower case. It has a 120mm intake fan, 120mm and 92mm rear exhaust fan and a 92mm top exhaust fan.
The heat sink.

For the heatsink I will be using a 120mm fan. I also picked up some round ATA/IDE cables and a round FDD cable. I should have everything together this weekend. Hopefully I will make a big difference in my temps.

Very nice indeed.
When I get back to Boeing I plan on getting a new case and a few goodies to beef up my PC a bit more.

Still deciding on a few different cases I have been drooling over.
