I second that! The "shiny" ones at Best Buy look like they may have better picture quality, but the glare would drive my crazy. I think you can upgrade the screens on the laptops. They have like 3 different ones I think. I soo jealus...the 6000 is probably what I would be getting if I got a laptop.

im a real big fan of IBM. they are very pricey and mainly used for corporations, but i love them! Dell is also very good, EXCELLENT customer service. stay away from Sony VAIOS...they are junk!

I vote Toshiba A-75. thats if you're looking for a desktop replacement. 3.3ghz processor, 1gb RAm, 100gb hard drive. for 1200 I couldn't turn it down, and the screen is incredible. I also like IBM, and dell is always a good choice.
