Well, as you can see by my avatar pic i have had some trouble resizing. I was wondering what resizing programs people are using. Will the quality or resoloution of the original pic have any effect on the resizing (kb's)? In other words, is there an adjustment on the camera itself?
Thanks for helping the computer ignant!

For PC or MAC? If you don't have Photoshop already then there are cheaper alternatives out there. Photoshop Elements is a very good program with most of the functionality of the full version of Photoshop and it costs much less. Elements is even included with some scanners when you buy them. On the Mac side, you can use Graphic Converter-an excellent program. If you can't afford $$$$$$$ Photoshop...

Whatever software your camera came with should be fine, our first Kodak came with MGI which we really like & at some point we found a newer version in the $10 bin & have found it to be easy to use & high quality for simpler stuff like this.

Paul, your picture looks fine for the most part. The only thing it needs is sharpening, since it is very soft. It could be bigger as well, but that didn't look to be the problem, though perhaps you were wanting it to be the max size allowed? Assuming you start out with a usable picture, resizing them to a smaller size won't cause any issue. And no, there isn't an adjustment on the camera.
