Enjoying your iPod?

I noticed the iPod owners group went up a bit I was wondering if there were any complaints, likes, dislikes or delights?

Lovin' my black 30gb very much and have got about 1200 songs downloaded and have about another 4000 to go.

Now I gotta start converting my vids to the iPod.

iPod rules.
I like it as it is so small, and yet holds 30 GB.

Using it for mainly just walking for exercise, and a little video watching.

If you did not catch my thread yet, I detail how to convert vids for it.

Love my 30GB IPOD video. Just need to organize my music collection a little more logically.

My co-workers dig the car videos I bring to work on my IPOD.

I thought it was stupid that the back of it is chrome. My whole thing is just covered in scratches. I never got a case because they're gay. It has held up through some rough abuse..... I shoulda got a 60GB, I don't use it for photos, and I don't have the video one, but I like my color screen. I need some more gadgets to go with it, but the only thing I'd do over is get a 60 gig.

My silicone case came with clear front and rear protective sheets that stick on protecting it so it will not scratch.

Hutchstaco on the forum here says he sells the protective cover sheets for it, look him up.

I love my iPod, except for the fact that it's only a 20gb. I bought it only having 14gb on my computer and was on a tight budget, today I have over 30gb's of music.
I wasn't going to get a cover for mine when I bought it, but I stumbled across the one I currently have and love it. Clear rubber/plastic cover. Keeps the iPod clean from scratches and is almost slip proof. And it was only 15.00 too.

iPod in cover

I'll upgrade the iPod to a 60 at some point, maybe by then they'll have a 120gb so I can go a while without fear of loading the 60 completly.

a little too late for me. Oh well, as long as it works, If I ever get ready to update it won't be worth much scratches or not.

4GB Nano and I love it, although the balck shows scratches like crazy - should have got a case a lot sooner.

I say use the "Duck" Tape Mod! Cover you IPod w/black (or whatever color you choose) D/Tape and carefully cut out the access you need to the screen & menu wheel! You'll never have to worry about scratches again.

May also keep it from gitting stolen. They are gonna think it is broken piece of crap!

Also, with it covered, you can customize the look by drawing whatever you want on it with a Sharpie Marker!

I got a really nice Neoprene type case that is very protective and is snug to the iPod and I can't imagine not having a cover since they do scratch so easily.
I also got a better set of ear buds but mostly it's going to be used in the truck and I won't have to carry CDs with me anymore.

Here is my case.

Not the happiest with it, allthough it did come with clear film to protect the front and back as mentioned above.
The case is good for scratch resistance, but not if you drop it.

Will be looking into two others down the road.
1. http://thinkdifferentstore.com/produ...oducts_id/1532

2. http://thinkdifferentstore.com/produ...oducts_id/1579
Out of black right now.

3. This holds it all.

This place has all kinds of cases, can keep you busy all day looking at the site.

I think #1 above gives the most protection if it ever drops, but you have to open it up to watch a vid.
No biggy, I mainly keep mine in my shirt pocket and have it play one of my many "Power Walk" lists I put together.

Ipod

I have a 20GB Ipod with about 1400 songs and the Ipod adapter so that it can play through my head unit. It was really easy to install and simple to use. I chose to hard wire instead of the Itrip....due to crowed air ways of a busy city.

Just got my hookup in the car and haven't even turned the radio on once. I also got the Belkin charger/amplifier piece and this is when having multiple power outlets up front is nice.
