Hows it going in C++?

Same here, I used to do programming for fun about 10 years ago, I was 15!

What compiling software are you guys using? I am too in Engineering (Environmental) and need to take this class even though I used to be an expert. We'll see though, I am super rusty, and I can't even remember the syntax for an while,then,if,else {} loop

i'm going to school for aerospace engineering, and we use microsoft visual studio 2005, which is with the C++ language. and it's going alright i guess, and i would advise if you are taking it, just sit down at a computer and practice with it until you start making sense of it all, as that's what i did for many projects...good thing is though this is the only C++ class i have to take, which is a relief...

Just be happy that you don't have to do your programming in a text editor and compile everything from the command line with the gnu c compiler. Boy that turned me off from C++ real fast.

hey now, gcc kicks butt. you could always get a front end for it, too, like Xcode for the mac.

Hehe, I know it is not really that bad. I've just gotten spoiled being a Java programmer that primarily does web applications. Now I can barely do anything programming related from the command line, LOL.
