Any mulitcasting experts out there?
Here at work, I purchased an Accordant Capture station for broadcasting live webcasts but can't get live multicasting to work. The Capture Station will take live feed and encode it, then FTP it to my windows media server but then the process dies. I can stream it on demand but not live multi-cast.
We have a 8 meg pipe to the internet with TimeWarner cable local to Cincinnati.
I get conflicting answers that Timewarner doesn't support muliticasting but I know other timewarner customers that do it. Right now I'm using Powerstream, an external hosting provider.
Any thoughts would be apprieciated.
