i have a radioshack trc-519 cb radio that my mom gave me. it is a 40 channel, cb/weather selector, bla bla. it is small and i think i can fit it into the din below my cd player.i want to know if it is worth it? are the radioshack cb's worth a sh__? ive noticed that everyone seems to be big cobra fans but just wanted to know how the radioshack stuff stacked up. thanks

Nothing wrong with Radio Shack radios, should give you years of service. A lot of people swear by the HTX-202 2 meter handheld radio, for example. I'd use the radio and be happy. Use the money you save for some other mod, or heck just beer.
