Not too long ago, I experimented with placing mine on the cup holder instead of in it. I still prefer it to mount vertically to horizontally -- but it stays put this way. For the time being, this will do. I'm just too cheap to invest in a better way of doing things at the moment.

OK...here's my old setup...Not very elegant, but it worked great...they werent too far out of my field of view while driving, yet low enough to not block my view too bad, and especially low enough to where I never had issues with local PD harrassing me for it...

I've sold both GPS's, and now have a Lowrance iFinder Pro I need to get a mount for...
