Cool ham radio study app for your Technician license

So I am back to studying my Gorden West Technician Class Element 2 Amateur Radio License Preparation book to get my license, and I decided to plug in on my Droid "Ham Radio" and I found a cool app I installed today from Amazons App Market, but the main Android Market has it too.
Amateur Radio Exams 1.0

I messed around with it at work and got most of the questions right out of about half of the 35 questions it pools you on before I had to leave work today.
Give the app a shot if you are studying for your test.

By the way, there is a newer Gorden West book out than mine, I wonder if it is worth the $20 to buy it since mine is older?

Hey Cory, you can also take the practice tests (using the real question pool) at http://www.eham.net/exams/. Another study guide that I used for both my tech and my general exam is KB6NU's "No Nonsense" study guides: http://kb6nu.com/tech-manual/ They're free to download.

It sounds like you're already doing it the best way; use a comprehensive book that actually teaches you the material, rather than just learning the questions. I used the ARRL books for both my tech and general licenses. I've never used Gordon West's books, but I hear they're very good. And I would guess that the 2010-2014 version is the most current, since that's the current element 2 question pool.
