Stereo upgrade

Need a head unit for my 86 4Runner and found this one.

Seems like the bluetooth feature will come in handy. Any opinions?

It all depends on what you want out of your system. Will you be running amp(s) and sub(s)? If so, then I would push for a head unit that has 3 sets of RCA outputs instead of two.

If you are just tossing this in and you really don't care, then it should be fine.

Thanks for the input. I chose the Sony primarily for the built-in bluetooth. A friend sold me a pair of Pioneer TS 905 6 x 9's http://www3.dealtime.com/xPF-Pioneer-TS-905 that I plan on putting in the stock rear location. Cost is a major factor. I'll want to upgrade the front dash speakers next. I'll only add amps and a sub if i can get a killer deal and I'm not happy with the sound.

X2. I like the Pioneers. I'm on my second one, but I love it.

For me, the bluetooth would be worthless because even though the cops frown on talking on a cell phone while driving, I keep my conversations brief while I'm driving. But I'm sure more often than not, most people would find a use for it, just not really me.

Good point. I don't use my cell that much, and especially not while I'm driving. But I seem to be using it more and more. And in my state (WA) its now a primary offence and $124 ticket for handling a cell while driving.
