IPOD question

Is there any way to hook up an IPOD to the stock head unit? If not, can I hook it up to an aftermarket? How so in each case.
2002 4Runner SR5 Sport Edition

Thanks guys!!!

Have you considered using one of the FM transmitters on the market? They work pretty well. Not as good as a direct connection, but might work for what you want to do.

for the aftermarket head unit, you hook up a mini plug(headphone) that has RCA ends to the input in the back of the head unit and the mini plug into the headphone jack of the ipod

If you have a decent audio system in your car, you will definitely notice the difference between an FM transmission and a direct line-in. For me, this difference is large enough to warrant running the iPod through the Auxiliary input of my deck.

I just installed an adapter made by P.I.E. in my '99 runner on Saturday. I have a stock unit with the 6-disc in-dash CD changer. Now, if I hit the "CD" button once, it goes to the CD changer. If I hit the "CD" button a second time, it goes to my iPod. Works GREAT!!!
