iPod connection?

iPod connection?
I have an '02 runner and recently got an ipod. I knew a kid who hooked up his ipod to his stereo with a simple 1/8" plug. Is there anyway I could do this in my runner (i just have the factory stereo set-up)? Thanks for the info!
