The nakamichi's are very decent. They are just not powerful like other brands. I have always been a fan of the older Rockford Power amps (the ones with the round endcaps, not square). The new powers are awsome to

i'd watch this one. I don't know about their subs but if the price doesn't move it is a good deal for the amp alone.

Definatly Go with memphis, best warrenty by far, and quality is prime, good looks and very powerful, the price is pretty good too, you should usually pay a dollar a watt RMS on average

89macrunner, gotta disagree with you bud. alpine makes the best head units out there, and infinity is outstanding at making speakers, but where they come up short is their amp making abilities. dont get me wrong, they are good amps, 100 times better than sony or pyramid, but nowhere in the same league as mcintosh, xtant, zapco, tru, or us amps.

I highly recommend McIntosh Amps.
I currently have the MC440 (6 Channel) and you can't get any cleaner than this....
If you want, try looking up Brax or Arc Amps.....
Good Luck !!!!!

Try listening to some JL Amps. I have a pair in my other car, (a G35) and they are fantastic. I agree with the previous comments about Macintosh amps, but no one mentioned the fact that they are ridiculously expensive.

Phoenix Gold is the only amp i'll ever use. All come with test certif. showing the actual rms (always higher than advertised) and they perform extremely well. I've wasted enough time/money with others.
