Dude what about a nice Isuzu Trooper.
I guess you got what you wanted for your rig. Hopefully you will find a taco soon before we hit BMRA again. Should be in the latter part of Sept. If not heck just hitch a ride with us anyway. We always have a spare seat. If you can clear a spot out in Steve's rig (move the left over Whataburger cups and bags).
We have another wrenching party going on this weekend. This time in Ft.Worth. There's a trooper needing a new clutch. So a bit more wrenching than the last time.

A suggestion was made about our upcoming wheelin' trip. A trip up to Nocona at the Wheelin Ranch

Well, I could find you a nice V-6 Trooper, then you can put Toy emblems on it so these guys will still be your friends :>
I will keep my eyes out for a rig for you though. Are you looking for something newer, or used or what?
FT. Worth may fall through this weekend due to some surgery that is gonna be done on the Clutch guy's wife. Want to let her recover without a child jumping on her.

I can't believe you sold by baby!! I loved that truck.
How about a FJ-40 or 55? The 55 would be harder for parts though.
There is still two FJ-40s ( 1976 I think) with 350s in them for around 6K.
a 85 runner?

I know its far but...
There is a 97 FJ80 in asheville, never off-roaded, perfect paint. Had an alpine headunit. It was also sitting out in front of a detail shop. Seats were in great shape. The guy is asking 12,500 for it.
Just thought I'd throw that one out there. Good luck!

Guys I just got back in town, it sucks seeing foreign toyotas all week that we will never have. Thanks for the suggestions. I really want a 95-98 Tacoma. The fj40 is something I want but it is put on a pedestle like a 1940's Willys sitting in a crate in a barn in any town USA. Jacque.
