Site slow? Server problems?

I've been working for an hour trying to delete a handful of posts in the Classifieds section.
This should normally only take 30mins or so.

The site seems to be running unbelievably slow and the server seems to having some issues.
Every 5 or so refreshes it will tell me the server was reset while trying to connect, I'll have to navigate away from the site and go back to it.
This is the only site I've been having the issue with and it usually happens when hitting the "Submit" or "reply" button when the site is required to post something new.

Very frustrating.
Anybody else having problems?

Fink

I keep getting the same thing and it's really getting bad. I know it's not my machine because it happens at work as much as it happens at home. I know I get it at least 15 times a day (I guess I'm on a lot). It's starting to get annoying. I don't get the time outs at any other site. I know the site was moved or the databases were so I was giving things a chance to mellow out. I have been getting them for at least that long (I think, it's been happening for a while)...

It's been going on for me for at least a month now.
It has gotten progressively worse here recently.

I know Corey was going to leave either today or tomorrow for his trip, I don't want to bug him so if he has already left I'll just shoot an email to our IB guys directly.

Anytime that stuff happens you guys feel free to post up in here so we can get it fixed.
I thought it was just my POS laptop.

Anybody else having problems?

Just emailed our IB guy.
I'll give him a day or so to reply before calling.

In a case like this feel free to PM me or any of the other mods to ask if we're having issues or if we're aware of a problem.
If we're not then we'll check it out and if we are we'll appreciate the heads up.

The more evidence we can get of a problem with the site the easier it will be for the techs to figure it out.

When you're at the screen you want to take the shot of hold down Ctrl and hit the button that says "Prnt Scrn."
Each computer usually has a different name for it, it should be near Scroll lock depending on your machine.

Then go into Paint, paste the screenshot (Ctrl + V or Edit > paste) and save it as a JPEG.

If it's the same error I'm getting don't worry about it, if it's new then go ahead and post it just so we have it.

Thanks for posting up guys.
Not sure what the issue is - may possibly be the new server/database having issues.

Hopefully IB will get back to me soon, I'll be at work tonight from 10pm-6am CST but I'll check into it after I get off in the morning.

Fink

EDIT: Has happened twice while trying to post this.

It seems worse today than usual.
For the past few weeks I've been getting the white wall of death every so often.
Refresh a few times and its good for a few more threads.

Yes, it's been a little irritating. Refreshing doesn't help, I have to close the window and come back in a minute then it seems to work.
