Political threads

I thought that political threads were banned from Yotatech. There seems to be more and more of them showing up in off-topic lately and are being allowed to run their their course even after name calling. What's up with that?

What's wrong with politics?

Everything is political...like what you are doing now.

If you don't like it...skip it.

there is no free speech on YT.
So you can live peacefully in your PC bubble.

And no one will call you names for being an anti-war liberal.

Cool Bill Clinton Confronted by WeAreChange.org

WeAreChange.org

Luke Rudkowski of WeAreChange.org discusses their recent confrontation of former Bill Clinton during a book signing.

After Clinton refused to answer a question about extraditing Osama Bin Laden when he had the chance, the group let Clinton have it--

By way of a hidden speaker planted prior to the event, Matt Lepacek called Clinton out on many of his sins, calling him Bilderberg-New World Order scum and exposing his drug dealing activities at Mina, Arkansas, as well as other dealings on behalf of the globalists agenda.

Political threads are generally frowned upon here for the very reason I shut down that Bush thread earlier today.

I can not monitor every thread here though, you might say we are short staffed.
The only ones doing this full time is Molly and myself.
I had not even seen that thread until it was reported this morning.

Lets keep these type of threads off of YotaTech, as it seems they get out of hand way to easily.
This is why we shut down the political sub forum.

Join a political forum to talk about this stuff, or make your own political forum.

I think they are fine but trolling isnt helping. See we were fine till it became a 1 on one. Then someone chimed in for no other reason but to take a potshot at me.

On other boards we have zero issues with politics, everyone discusses and those who keep getting shut down shut up eventually. Problem here I noticed is (no offense) but Canadians think they know better than us. In each and every thread the fire was poked around with a Canadian trying to explain to us why X politician or person is an idiot and how they know allt he answers to our problems. The last one was just this kinda thing.

Self control is the problem, seems alot of people lack it. if you looked at the thread I gave up b/c it was gonna go down hill.

We do not think we are better, however, I like Canada better than the US. We do not kill for nothing and start a genocidal war for nothing. My $00.02.

This is the exact reason we shut down the prior political section.
To many Internet tough guy's sitting behind their keyboards taking potshots at other members and getting to personal.

I have a motto I live by.
If you can not say something nice about someone, then you should probably not say it at all.

It is easy to take potshots at someone when behind your PC.
Would you act that way in their home or their presence?
Probably not, unless you wanted a good asskicking.

I would have to discuss with future staff members if they would like to "test pilot" these type of threads here again, but I think the consensus would be no since they almost alwasy end up out of hand.

Heat and light goes hand in hand. There is no light without heat.

Me too, I think we have no business being over there.

My oldest son just left last week for his third tour there, and it scares the crap out of me.

His three years are up this Christmas, but of course it got extended.
He is now over there for an additional 15 months.

Supporting the troops does not mean standing behind them and egging them on inorder to motivate them to delusionally kill, steal, and destroy.

Anyways main problem is people dont back down, I learned a long time ago to let it be-there are some people who are stubborn like a mule and wont see the day of light itll its to late.
And Curious George BuSShy is the prime example.
