I know I'm not alone in thinking this site has become very polluted with politics recently. Some have mentioned it on the board and others off.
Another board I frequent recently added an off topic - political section for everyone to vent, discuss and post their opinions in. I think this would really help out in making the board more enjoyable to read again.

 

I just think all the threads posting anti-Kerry pics and fellow Republicans high fiving each other for 3 pages is getting kinda old;I want real information when I read a political thread. Bob is the most informative at this........even if he is a die hard Bush fan.

I DON'T think we should add a political forum. In 2 months (after the election, and all the "I told ya so"s and moaning and groaning is over), it won't be an issue any more.

Plus, for those of us (like myself) who use the new posts button to browse the board... a separte section wouldn't accomplish anything. Perhaps I'm in the minority though for using the new posts button???

I think if you're going to do something... you make one thread for all the Bush jokes/bashing, and one thread for all the kerry jokes/bashing - any jokes/bashing outside of these 2 threads can be deleted. Leave the threads with actual substance alone.

I don't think it takes a brain surgeon to figure out if a thread is political or not by the title. If you don't wanna read it, don't click it. Besides, the election will be over in a month...just make sure you are registered and go vote.





P.S. I've already stated in my "political" sarcasms that I was going to delete them.

 

If Kerry/Edwards win it'll be a constant bitchfest (some topics will be relevant tho') from the Republicans on this board and it won't go away;they still bag on Clinton and it's been 4 years now.

 

I think that is one of the best descriptions I've read.

It would be nice if the political crap stayed in their threads but it is all over the board in other unrelated posts, avatars and sigs. THAT is what this thread is about.
