!!! !!!
State and year/make of the vehicle(s) that you're on the forum to talk about. It should be _required_.

I agree. Not knowing what someone is driving or where they are from is annoying. Maybe I am just nosy, haha.

Nah... it's just practical sense. I get into a LOT of threads where people are asking "how do I..." or "why is..." and my answer for a 3rd gen ain't gonna make a lot of sense if the guy's driving a 2006 Tundra. Likewise, someone complaining about poor performance in Arizona isn't gonna be able to make use of an answer for a 7000' elevation in CO.

So... you ask "what engine do you have" and "where are you in the world", and you wait for their response. It just slows down the process of trying to help.

Especially for sale ads where they state no shipping, but don't say where they are.

It depends on the profile that people are using.

This works ok (profile: extreme)

This bleeds blue (profile: original)

I know I'm bringing this back up, but I just have to say that I agree. At least having the make and model of vehicle in your signature helps when you ask a question about your vehicle and don't give specific info in the thread.

Just gotta throw this back into the mix for a bit...

I'm surprised to see this much support in this thread because a thread I started with a very similar topic got smacked down

Oh, and I'm all for having everyone at least put in their state.
