They had an ad on here yesterday that was poping up and annoying the crap out of us. You had to close it like 2 or 3 times each page. Many of us were really hacked off about it. The hate began and so did the reveloution, viva la reveloution...........uh sorry, we just started sending them complaints untill it the ad was removed.

That is my crap email address, the one for junk. They sent me another today, telling me that they use an advertising company to run all their web advertising and they have been having complaints on other sites as well. then they thanked me for my input. I replied in, vell, wI will just say a negative manner.

Me too. I had that one glitch where the banner screwed up & got in the way of the upper section of thread but that's it.

I opened up YT just a second ago using IE and got the Circuit City pop-up. Switched to Firefox and it's no problem now but just a FYI.

I am letting the ad department know.
By the way, they do not put up the ads, it is done via Google.

The problem is with Internet Exploder, a browser that is not as good as Firefox 3 IMO.

I quit using IE long ago.
Download the new Firefox 3, import your bookmarks from IE, and you are all set.

You may have to install the Ad Blocker Plus plugin, that can also be found at Firefox.

I see zero ads anywhere.
The only one I see is the Bushwacker one that was inputted manually sponsoring the Wiki.

I have tried firefox and i cannot stand it.

This has been discussed to death, but we should not have to put up with ads, ever. I know it will be fixed by tomorrow, but its still a hassle right now.

Have you tried the newest Firefox?

Yeah, some do not like it, they can not stop using IE.
A good friend of mine hates Firefox, I have the same 'tude towards IE.

Firefox simply blocks ads better.

When I first tried Firefox years ago, I had the same feeling about it.
I hated it compared to IE, then I gave it a try again and never looked back.
