ATTN Mods : Idea for new for sale section : Rigs

Just an idea, but what does every one think of having a section within the classfieds section for Rigs only ? Like one section devoted for Rigs only, and this section for parts and every thing else. Just an idea! Might help people sale their rigs sooner. like me !! Just excercising my "contributing member" rights !

thats a good idea. Kinda of like what Pirate has. diffrence categories for wheels/tires, rigs, parts, and other junk. but that might be too much to control. I know the mods already do a lot

it is a good idea... the other forum i belong to has a vehicles for sale section.... there are just stricter more special rules about posting a vehicle for sale in that section.....

Yeah I know our mods work their butts off. I dunno how much more work it would be for another section but it seems like we have alot of rigs for sale right now in the general area, some pretty high dollar. Be kinda cool to have a seciot devoted to rig sales for future yota techers searching for their dream rig !

Either way, if the mods decided to use the idea or not i still give them a big for all the time they put into yota tech.

sounds like a good idea to me, though it'll probably just create more opportunities to post in the wrong place

I like the idea too. However, I must ask a rhetorical question: How many vehicles have actually exchanged hands as a direct result of yotatech classifieds? I bet we could count them on one hand.

I like the idea.Rigs for sale is the main reason I look at these classifieds every day. Its become an obsession. I would still look at the other yota parts for sale too!

I sold my '96 via the Classifieds...I hope to sell the '85 via the same way. But I have a feeling it's going to go via eBay when ya'll see how much I want for it

it is definitely a good idea, with not only a rigs section, but also a 'Yota parts section also. Put all the "other" stuff in its own area. I cruise the wildyoats forum for sale section all the time, but that forum seems to have Utah as the center of the universe, so not many "right" coasters selling stuff. Almost went to CO for a 1st gen pickup just like my old '79, though....

Yea, its sounds like a good idea but the only reason why i say no is because its not very often somebody is selling thier rig. If somebody is, they usally will post it in the General section where MANY more members will see it versus it being in a 'sale section'.

For an example: A YT member recently place a "Yakima Sale" thread in the Off Topic section. I ended up buying his Load Warrior and was very happy with the purchase. If the seller only placed it in the Classified section, i probably would of never seen it.

IMO, rigs are more likely to sale by being placed in the sections that they already have been.
