Odd, I emailed ya back a couple days ago. There is like 24.5 verticle distance on the rad gibby. Plus, I need to give ya a jingle later today on the driveshafts.

Here is the start of the cross member. My main goal on the crossmember is hopefully build something strong enough that will hold up, give protection to the cases, and be a slider. Hopefully I can nail it..

Here is the start of the main hoop.

I Used 2 short spacers at the 203-205 adapter that are welded to the hoop.

So once the main hoop was finished, the main platform for the whole works, it just exploded from there.

As you can, I gave the cases as much protection as possable, and trying my best to keep from any verticle points to hang up on..

Hopefully this will hold up

I was able to build it and use 4 mounting holes (2 at the 203-205 adapter and 2 at the th350-203 doubler). One thing I wanted, was to have the bolts protected, so they are recessed and out of harms way..

The main hoop ended up neing a little farther forward, so I ended having to remove the passenger factory crossmember mount.

And here is the drivers side frame rail prepped and ready. So, once the main part of the crossmember was done, time to notch the ends of the hoop and get ready to build the mounts. Hopefully I should be close to done tommorow night and the whole works can finally hang by itself...

Crash, I am looking at the oil pan for the TH350. It that going to be open to damage? Could a removable skid plate be made to protect the TH350? Just asking. I know Gibby's rig it TALL, but just thought I would ask.

So what do you think Gibby?

Since the crossmember is done I now know where the fuel line can go. One thing I didn't relize, the fuel line is roughly 5/16" (its metric of course) and I want to run a 3/8" hardline. So what I did was leave a little more material on the flare when I flared it with a 3/8 fitting on it, and it worked out perfectly and sealed up nicely.

And here are the rest of the lines

So, with those done, its ready to fire off. I didn't think 12am with open headers would be a good idea(the neighbors wouldn't be shocked, lol) I am going to wake everybody up in the morning

Yeeeeehaaaaaaawwwwwww!

Now we just gotta make it move.

New drivelines were ordered from High Angle Driveline. The rear is a 1350 at the diff and 1310 u joint at t-case with high strength tubing. The front is the same combination but with a long slip spine.

You actually won't need it. I will show you how to bump the idle up on the carb using the choke cam, quite slick actually...
