Upndair's rig--- new powerplant..
Well, as some of you know gibby's 4 runner, its grown up in the last couple of years (I remember those, ha ha ha days, lol). And as many of you know who have the great 3.0 v6, well, they really are turds, and expensive to fix, if they ever go BOOM. Well, gibby picked up a few new goodies for his rig, and the time has come. On sunday he drug it up to my shop, and the time has come to KILL IT (ok, the powertain anyways,lol)...
Damn, its BIG (I remember those days when, ha ha ha, I won't tell,lol)..

Look at that cute, little turd of a motor
Its NOT that bad of a motor, its just not a great powerhouse by any means
And, here are the new goodies
nicely built SB350, Th350 tranny, 203 doubler(ops, forgot it in the back room) and a 205 t-case..

OMG!!!! I have found mud in places I have never seen before
The next couple of days will be spent getting the old stuff removed, cleaned(I have not been this dirty in a long time) and then prepping the frame....

Ok, the last 2 nights have been spent making a HUGE mess of myself, and the floor of my poor shop,lol.... Well, I finally got the tranny out, and so that leaves this next
And here is the end result
So tommorow I am dragging it out of the shop, going to clean what mud didn't fall on me off, and start preping the frame for the new goods.....

I guess te answer would be - now!
It would be great if you could pick up the goods this weekend. Crash can likely use the room.

I'm going to have to start parking that thing on it's side so that I can get the bottom side of it cleaned out better. Not to mention cleaning it out more often!
