holy moly. that is definately teh nicest flatbed ive seen. teh angles are awesome. its not big and awkward and its not small and inconvenient. its perfect my friend. i want a flatbed like this now

Very nice job.
Looks like you mounted the frame to the original body mounts?
Might want to get a cover for your Hi-Lift. It is gonna catch a lot of extra grime being over the tire like that if you run it there all the time. For trips, not a big deal.

You mounted the frame on 4 or 6 of the original body mounts? Only saw 4. Great idea to make it removable.
Makes me want to go finish restoring my bed.

The flatbed frame is mounted on all 6 locations. The two mounts right behind the firewall are 1/4" lower than the back 4 mounts. I drilled a hole in the flatbed angle iron to meet up with the stock front holes. I ran a bolt, a 1/4"spacer, lock washer and washer to secure it.

That's looks awesome! Looks heavy though, hows the spring rate on those springs holding up? You gunna need new springs? Also, I wouldn't mount the high lift there...too susceptible to gettin smashed on somethin or gettin clogged with mud on a trail when you need it most...just somethin to think about. Trucks lookin great as always.
