What is it with the parking garages there at work? You'd think they'd make 'em accessable to the "fit-through-the-door challenged" folks who work there
Not! The top stays firmly in place for now...

I guess they figure the average height of a BMW doesn't require much more than 6'6"

What's the difference between a BMW and a porcupine?

Me too, now I just drool over my truck instead. Ya, it's two years newer than that one but oh well, by the end of the week it'll be even better than Marty's truck.

Cebby is just not my type. In 1985, I was in my second year of college and hopelessly in lust with a 6' tall, drop-dead gorgeous, blond gal, who was dumb as a sack of wet mice.

Very well thank you I didn't want to bore everyone with the day to day stuff I have been doing and since Shane was going strong, I figured people's attention was directed there anyway. None the less, I was just working on a status update for the web site.

We are well into Phase II now. The truck is currently back on jack stands and the rear third member is at the diff shop getting geared. This weekend we will put the third back in and install the fancy new crossmember I have sitting here in my office. Then, Monday morning, I am having the front diff locked and geared. By sometime midweek, next week, I will have a custom made driveshaft ready to go and I will be a full fledged 4x4 SAS Taco

I have contacted a few folks and the plan is to do the trucks maiden voyage off road on the 20th

More photos of Phase II, then of the shakedown cruise will be appearing on the site over the next days and week.

Tonight is an off-night, so I dunno if Rob will reply...so I will

Here's the rig's current state:

(note that the image will change when we turn the webcam back on at some point in the future)

Third member is out for regearing, and barring any unexpected inturuptions, I/we should have back in place tomorrow evening.

Rob also picked up the new cross member this morning, and we plan on getting that installed this weekend. I've only seen a picture of it, but it looks pretty slick from what I have seen.

Have you determined a location? I'd like to go, but I dunno about keeping up with you. My parking lot avatar reveals way too much about my wheeling abilities.

Actually the current one was a bit dicey, as I had to climb to the top of the ridge above Spada Reservoir in 6" of very wet snow.
