It starts and runs beautifully We warmed it up and decided to flex it a bit by jumping up and down on the sliders...

...and promptly collapsed the shackles against the frame We also have a tiny drip of power steering fluid on the ground that we need to see where it came from.

We sort of expected the shackles... They angle had a worried. Hopefully it's the easy fix and we can take care of it in the morning.

We are done for tonight... chat at you in the morning.

Damn, that's lookin' mighty fine. I wish I could come down this evening.

Does this mean you'll actually get to drive it tonight?

You know how many wonders the bumper did when you put it back up?!

My goodness, I can't express how impressive your trucks is and looks.

I love reading that mod list in your site, LOL!

HAHAHAHAHAHA (or should that be MUAHAHAHAHA!!!

Nah, I kinda' like my stinky ol' 30 y/o Cruiser. It'll fit 35s with just 4 inches of lift

Now, if we were talking an engine/tranny trade, *then* I'd be interested

DAMN that looks sweet Rob.
Sorry I couldn't make it out to help with the grunt work.
Must be nice to think that you no longer have to worry about those damn CV's. Mine started leaking after our Tahuya run.
Not sure whether to order boot kits or two new CV axles and keep one of originals as a spare.

Can't wait to see some flex pics.

Congrats to you, Chris and all the guys that did a wonderful job on the conversion.

You have a few of us with SAS envy now.

I just noticed your alternate web cam.

Looks like your buttoning things up. Hoods down, garage door opened. Looks like another test drive? Whats left that needs to be done now?

I am too wiped out to go into much detail tonight, but we finished everything on the punch list and tomorrow will be dedicated to test drives and fine tuning. We will hit the wash rack while we are out and rinse off a weeks worth of grinder dust, then we'll get some action shots.

For now, here's a teaser photo.
