Seafleas IFS Elimination

Today I finished cutting off the drivers side and cleaned it up. All it needs now is some minor cleaning and it is ready for paint.....
While I was at it, today, I decided to make the front winch mount and bumper area a bit more sturdy. I used 1/4" plate. Hope that holds
Notice the toothless grill! My winch fits in there perfectly.

LOL a little...... I took today off. I generally go to work early and get off around 4. That gives me some time to work in the eavenings... I love making my own hours
Thanks for the comments guys. My goal is to be done by Sunday night, but I'm not sure tha will happen. It may be more like Monday or Tuesday. No big rush, I want this to be done right and look right.
Now off for some

monday Morning update:
Capped the motormounts and cleaned up the frame. tacked the front hangar on and started drilling the holes in the frame. what a PITA!!!! LOL
The sliders are in the way of the drill to make a ctraight hole, so we had to improvise and make an extension for th hole saw to go at the correct angle. Also, got the tires mounted and finished drilling the rotors and getting the axle finished.
I took Sunday off to spend with my wife, so there was not much progress done over the weekend. Tonight, I will set the sleeves and complete welding the front hangar. I will also post more pics.

not much, but they are touching. I will have that figured out soon also. Didn't you do this also? Did you have any problems?

I'm planning to pull my 4cyl calipers off my 92 to see if this is true or not.
I'm just going to run some 1" spacers front and rear to give me some extra width.

I am running the 4cyl calipers from the IFS (87) and they are still hitting.
basically just rubbing a bit. I will probably just try and clearance them by the mounting holes.
Thanks for the reply Greg.
