thats a baby turbo by supra standards, 61 mm. Try this 88 mm on for size. Yes there is a car in the picture too, you just have to look real hard to see it.

Awsome, I wanted to have someone to make the looong drive with. Let me know if there's anything I can do, without the marathon training on my back I have ALOT more free time.

well at some point i need to cut my sliders off so i can remove the body lift if you want to come to town on a sat/sun sometime soon to help. Looking under the truck i might be able to get away without cutting up the tranny tunnel and just beat back the firewall real well with a BFH.

I'd like to have the motor ready to put back in before the end of this month but i want the body lift out before i put it back in.

Jeremy, I forgot, but are you using a W56 tranny? Or did you figure out how to mate a R150 to the 7mgte?

I am running a W56 ( the stock 5spd for most 22RE's ) right now which IMO is fine for a stock 7MGTE if you dont beat on it (burnouts etc) but i have Rob from supracharged working on a handmade cast bellhousing to use an R150/151. He has done them before, he's just trying to make a permanent mold so he can "mass produce" them. I get a free one for torture testing whenever he's done.

yea i still cant find that supra either, i know its there, ive had girls i know look and they SWEAR its there

I'm waiting on my new injectors so i can finish putting the top of the motor together, then she can go back in. Its pretty pointless to put it together and then have to remove the intake manifold again later to replace the injectors then, its quite a PITA especially in the truck. I promise ill put updates up whenever they happen, literally nothing has happened since i put the block back together.

w/ a 1990 3.0 5spd, you have an R150 trans. Assuming you are already familiar somewhat with how an engine works the biggest headache will be engine mounts. The 22RE guys can use stock engine mounts, 3.0 people have to make their own. After that i'd say the biggest headache is fuel lines. The 3.0 has passenger side fuel lines and the supra connections are on the drivers side. The electrical wiring is easy if you can solder, and the rest is just finding the right radiator, hoses, intake tubes, exhaust stuff that works for your budget and needs.

ohh, and all that assumes you start with a perfectly functioning motor. When working with engines this old that can be a gamble, hence my spending so much money to overhaul mine completely.

finally new updates. My fuel setup for the motor arrived, now i need to install it and re-plumb my fuel lines with hard lines. Now that i can finish assembling the top end of the motor she will be ready to go back in the truck soon.

I got around to taking out my body lift last week. I had to cut off my welded on sliders to do so but i think it was worth it. I like the lower stance much better, takes away some of the "monster truck" look. Lowering the COG is always nice too.

you dont even want to know what that stuff cost :pat:

nope, that sheet is the flow test data that RC performs on them. They flow match them to within +/- 1 cc/min.

Engine is now ready to go back in, i just need a helping hand to do so. Hopefully it will be back in its home by the end of the week. Got my new radiator too and man is it sweet. Fits perfect. I can't use the stock one anymore since i took the body lift out, theres not enough room between the hood latch and frame so i bought a nice aluminum one that has a smaller height. I'll take pictures of the truck without the body lift too once i get the engine back in.
