I will blue, as soon as I get home. I haven't been able to do much to my rig since the baby was born, but now I'm tryin to get out to the shop more. I'm going to try to finish up my roof rack and rear bumper over the next few weeks

How do you like that synthetic line? I've heard good things about it in the mags, but never heard from someone first hand

Nice. I've been wanting one of those, but can't afford one right now. Looks really nice on your truck though.

Thanks peeps. It took me quite a while to get it done, been real busy. Camo, there was a time that my iPhone took better pictures, but this thing has taken a beating. I was going to snap a few shots with my camera but I just got home and it's dark out.

I like it, I've had one good pull on it and it did great! Easy to handle and re spool.

Can you use a roller fairlead with it? Im pondering the swap. We never really needed a winch but our offroad group went from two trucks to four Toyotas and five Jeeps, so now we are doing harder trails, going deeper in the woods and river and creek crossings. More fun!

No, but you can get polyurethane roller inserts I believe...but you can pick up a hawse fairlead for like $50 so it'd probably be worth doin that...the synthetic rope is COMPLETELY worth it in my opinion, it's way easy to handle, way safer, and not to mention about $40 lighter. BTW how's that front suspension doing with all that extra weight...I bet it's sagging and your allignment is a little off, you may as well crank the torsion bars like 4 complete turns to get somewhat stock spring rate feeling springs back and then get it aligned. I just did that the other day and it worked awesome! It brought me back up to stock height or so on the front end. I also have a lifetime Firestone alignment so it was free but if you haven't gotten your truck aligned lately it may be worth it to get one...

I had it in the alighn shop today to check it, it was still dead on. The rectangle tube is 3/16 thick, reinforced where need so it's not crazy heavy, but it's solid. I've gotta work on the wife about the synthetic line, just bought more steel to customize a roll bar and to do my rear bumper, plus I spent a boatload on my ragtop last month. I also put a fresh set of mud grips on a few months back, so I've been spending quite a bit on toys. Maybe I should take her to a chick flick, that might grease the wheels a bit
