Hard to pin down an exact date but usually Blanca starts getting snow at the end of Sept / start of Oct.

Take your time with the 4Runner, Blanca will be there next year

That's what I figured, but I was hoping that you would prove me wrong. I could have the trailer ready to go by then, but there's no way the 4Runner would be ready to run Blanca. You can count me in for next year though!

Thanks, but Oregon has some EPIC snow wheeling! You need to go out with some locals; figure out where the trails are and how to set up your truck. I really want to make a trip out there, just to go snow wheeling!

Youtube "Oregon Snow Wheeling", and this is at the top of the list.

Just read all 12 pages of this AWESOME build.

I'm terrible about documenting my builds but this was a 12,000lbs capacity trailer I did for a friend a few years ago.

And now, thanks to you, I'm feeling inspired to do a camping/expedition trailer for myself next!

Thanks guys! It has defiantly turned into more of a project than I ever thought it would be, but the end result should be worth all the extra work.

I’ve been focusing on the 4Runner so I don’t have any updates. I did built a rear bumper for the 4Runner so I can tow the trailer, I guess that’s progress.

Thanks guys! I've been working on the 4Runner so I have not had a chance to work on the trailer much. I should be able to finish it this winter in time for some spring wheeling, I really can't wait to get it out on the trail!

Thanks! I can take measurements if you need them but I don't have it on paper. I built it around the tent cot for the most part (thinking it would be a quick and easy project). If I was going to do it again I would have saved up for a nice RTT and built the trailer around that.

Thanks, I thought you had seen pictures of it? Is your truck going to be ready for some spring/summer expedition style trips?

I got a little more work done on the trailer!

I finally got my rear door latches installed, along with some foam tape to seal it from the elements.

I also found a spot to mount my stand-by camping Mag-Light.
