Thanks guys! It's been a fun project, I'm really looking forward to packing it up and taking it out for the first time. There's still alot of work to be done but it's getting closer!

Here is a picture of my invention I just want something smaller than my truck because it is very expensive and a little restrictive for indoor venues. Any advice out there about a truck bed trailer? http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/6825/sportstent.jpg
I make the Bench for the tailgate see http://z-bench.com
Thanks! A truck bed trailer would be pretty easy, I would just find the shortest bed/frame you can from a wrecked newer model vehicle. Pull the gas tank, etc and build a frame for the coupler. I've heard that some states are cracking down on using rear axles on a trailer (but I could be wrong), I'm sure you get a shop to build an axle for you in any width you wanted.

That bench is pretty cool, I'm sure you will figure it out.

Thanks man, my boss and co-workers are really cool about me using the shop on my days off. Theres no way I could build the stuff I have without it. I think it's almost like a TV show to them, everyone wants to know what I built over the weekend and what other crazy ideas I have! When my tires showed up for the new 4Runner everyone went crazy "Your going to put those on that! Here we go again!", it's fun.

So as most of you know I sold the Turbo 4Runner and bought a 3rd Gen. That means that not only do I need to finish the trailer, but I also need to build the new 4Runner. That means I will be going back and forth between projects. I would love to take the truck and trailer out this summer, but I'm not going to to kill myself in the process. If it happens thats great, if not, then theres always fall.

Anyways, heres some progress pictures.

I installed a flange on the bottm and top of the rear door, this will let me install some weatherstriping to keep the water and dust out.

I also welded in the lower front bulkhead, the upper bulkhead will be diamond plate.

I also built the fold down table for the camp stove. I still need to make a couple cables that limit how far it drops, and supports the weight of the stove.

I'm also going to build a removeable table that fits in the 2" receiver.

I installed a couple latches to keep the table up when it's not being used. The cables will attach to the stud when it's in the downward postion.

The got the tent installed, it's there forever (whether it likes it or not)!

I still need to finish the flange that goes all the way around the tent. Thats where the snaps will be installed for the cover.

I got the fuel tank and upper diamond plate platform installed today. I also tarped the tent to keep the UV rays and water from getting to it, until I can get a cover made.

Sorry for the crappy pictures, I used my phone and the lights in the shop mess with it.

The full story is a couple pages back. To make a long story short; I had them, they will match the new 4Runner and I have two extra spares if I need them.
