Only time I wheeled mine w/ the front bumper on it was the piece that was up in front of the fender that kept me from mashing it on a dirt/mud bank. I think you'd want something protecting the front top corner of the fender, despite not liking the way it looks...stinger alone won't do that.

Yours is coming out nicely too. I'm glade you figured out the rear leaf swap. I'll be doing my rear leaf shape in a few months, so I’ve been thinking about how I’d get it to align. Would you say the rear was more of a pain in the ass than the front, excluding the cutting of the axle brackets? I have a leaf spring rear axle housing from a pickup so I don’t have to mess with the coil housing.

Did you send your 3rds to Zuk?
Yeah I sent them to zuk today.

The rear was a MUCH bigger PIA than the front, both with the cutting and the install. Having the leaf rear axle will make it easier. Im assuming your going to rotate the pinion, if so take exact measurements of where the perches are located before you cut them off, getting the axle centered is difficult escpecially when you are alone, its just hard to move teh things around. The hard part is getting the axle square and in the proper position in the wheel well, im too far back in my wheel well, but I like it. the stance looks better and mt departure angle is better, so Im cutting 6-8" out of the rear of the wheel wells. Good luck if you need any pics or pointers let me know.

Well, I don't have the kind of money as Brain plus mine are newer Toys so it'll take some time for me.

But what I am building I do plan to wheel regularly.

I think a race to be "finished" first is a better idea, we might all actually get something outta that. Plus everyone knows a 22RE would win DUH :pat: .

A race to see who finishes and hardcore wheels it first-that's a hell of an idea!

Mr. Zuk got the 3rds today and is working on making them the badest 3rds that will be on the trails.

I should have them back some time next week, maybe.

Here’s a picture of the twins at Zuk’s. Aren’t they just the cutest?
