I'm planning a trip to Tellico for the end of March (24-26). I guess I should post it up in the trip planning section.

I wanna do SlickRock and some of the other easier trails that way it'll give me some seat time before May. Then come May I'm hoping to have the exo-cage done, then it's all out Guardrail, Heli-Pad and (there goes my windows ) School Bus.

Here are some more pictures of the SAS and one of the axle I snapped in half at Uwharrie.

I had no idea I snapped the axle shaft off like this until we started doing the SAS. I guess you could say the IFS went out with a bang.

Here are a few more of the SAS.

Myself working hard, or is it hardly working?

Marc doing some grinding. Thanks again Marc for all the help.

One of the completed beast.

Chick here for the photo gallery (there's 63 pictures).

Man, you were crazy with the IFS-you know I gotta ride in there now!-How about fabbing up a rollbar with a camera mount and we can get some inside vehicle footage!

I like that idea a lot.

I got some water proof cameras from work I’m going to put on the axles and I have some inferred lights and a camera I’m going to put in the grill.

I’ll work on the inside camera idea. I have an old tripod that’s broken so I could use the mount off it.

Man, I would sure offer to help, but with the baby and work I don't have time for anything! I can't even install my own little parts.

Is that damage left over from the Uwharrie trip?

Very nice. Now with the 3.4 you'll have a whole new rig.

Got my e-lockers all packed up and ready to ship to ZUK (gearinstalls.com). Taking them to Kinko's tomorrow.

He's going to be building some of the stongest e-lockers out there. I'm getting cryo'd 5.29's in these bad boys.

I forgot to take a picture of the 3rds out of there boxes but here's a picture of them boxed up. (the duct tape is temporary)

I’ll miss them when there gone.

Just do a Coil SAS on the 4Runner, you know you wanna.

I love my SAS'd Runner. It drives 10x better than it did with IFS. Sense trail-gear has a SAS kit for so cheap I'm going to SAS my 92 pickup instead of fixing the IFS like it needs.

To SAS my 4Runner, add a crawler, then leaf spring the rear I would have way more in it then just buying and modding a FZJ80.

Your right but you can’t look at it like that. You have to look at the “fun”-“fun”-“fun” signs not the $-$-$-$-$ signs - .

An FZJ would be cool. But for the $$$ I’d build an older Runner or Mini. Or just get you a 2nd gen Runner, SAS it and wheel the hell out of it. You have the room and it's not the size of a bus (what can I say – I love 2nd gens. ).

Also needs to be able to tow my camper and I don't want it so modded that it becomes unreliable.
